HOW TO BUY?
* Register as Individual
Registration as individual is free.
Click on Join Now link appearing on top of the page to go to Registration page and submit application for Individual registration
On successful registration, an email is sent to the email id provided by you at the time of registration
Check your email for confirmation of registration and your user id and password.
* Login to DubaiSooq
Use your user id and password to login to DubaiSooq
A Secured Login option is also provided where user credentials are encrypted for transmission, which makes the process a little slow.
You should change your password on first login.
Password should be kept confidential and should be changed as often as possible.
Once you are successfully logged in, you are ready to make purchases.
* Search for the Products
The Product category list is displayed on the left menu of DubaiSooq home page .You can view the products by clicking on the category of your choice from the list.
Also you can select the categories from the ‘Catalog’ link provided on the Header menu of all the pages.
Select the category /subcategory of your choice .You can see the list of products available under the selected category.
Users will also be able to Search the site for the Products from the home page directly through the Search option or through the Advanced Search Option available on DubaiSooq.
* How to Search on DubaiSooq?
There are two types of Search Options on DubaiSooq. Search & Advanced Search
a. Search
For a simple Search, there is a search component consisting of a Text Box to enter the keywords the user wishes to search for and a Go Button (à) to start the search.
The search sources are
o Suppliers (Business Directory)
o Products (Catalogs)
o Auctions
o Classifieds
o Site
Search results are displayed in tabbed pages with the name of the search source tab highlighted and the list of the results on each tab sorted in alphabetical order. System displays the Supplier tab as the default search tab.
b. Advanced Search
On Clicking the Advanced Search link, the system displays Advanced Search Form with the Supplier form as the default. The user can select another search source by clicking the corresponding radio button.
The User should enter the search criteria on the search form for the selected source and submit. The system searches for the items as per the search criteria, within the selected source and displays the Search Result.
* Add products to the Shopping Cart
If you want to buy an item from the product list you can add that item to your shopping cart directly from the product listing page or from the Item details page by clicking the link Add to Shopping cart.
You can see the details of the item by Clicking on the Name of the item in the product list.
* View Products in your shopping cart.
If you want to check your shopping cart for the items selected for purchase, Click on the Shopping cart link provided on the top of each Page.
You can change the quantity of any item in the shopping cart by changing the value in the Quantity box .It is also possible to delete an item from the shopping cart by making the quantity value to Zero.
If you want to continue your shopping, click on the link Continue Shopping in the shopping cart page.
* Check Out & Make Payments.
Once you are done with selection of items for purchase, you may proceed to Check-out by clicking Pay link provided on the Shopping Cart page. System displays check out page with the following steps
· Step 1: Confirm Order
· Step 2: Enter Shipping Details
· Step 3: Order Summary
· Step 4: Select Payment Method
You need to complete / confirm all the above steps to place the order successfully. After completion of these steps you will be re-directed to the corresponding payment gateways based on the mode of payment selected by you.
There are two modes of payment available on DubaiSooq
DBank Online & Credit Cards
· If the user selects DBankOnline, the system will take the user to DBank Online gateway where he/she has to enter his/her account details required for a successful transaction.
· If the user selects Credit Card mode, the system redirects to Credit Card gateway where the user has to select the credit card type and enter the valid card details required for a successful transaction.
The user will get the email and SMS notifications, once the payment is successfully completed.
* Track your Order
Registered users will be able to track their order history and the status of all their orders on the system by clicking on the link
Track Orders provided under My Account on the right side of your home page after login.
System displays the Order List for the past 1 month by default.

The order history contains all orders made by this user. User can filter Order List by date or by status to view all/other orders.
User can view the details of any Order by clicking on the Order ID in the list .System displays the order details page for the selected Order
and the Order Details page will have all the details of the order displayed in the Order list along with the List of Items.
User can also send the supplier review by filling up and submitting the form displayed while Clicking on the Review Supplier link

How to Sell?
* Company Registration
Company Registration is a paid registration for a specified period
Click on Join Now link appearing on top of the page to go to Registration page and submit application for Company registration. The request will go to the DubaiSooq Team and the Team will contact the merchant for completing the registration process.
On successful Registration, an email is sent with the UserId and system generated Password to the email id provided at the time of submitting Company Registration request.
The Company will have a super user .The user who is registering the company on DubaiSooq will be considered as the super user.
* Packages Available
The system provides 3 different packages: - Basic, Gold & Platinum
Basic package permits the merchant inclusion in the Business directory but no option to display products.
Golden Package permits display of limited number of products.
Platinum Package allows display of unlimited number of products,
Charges are applicable based on the package selected.
* Login to DubaiSooq Back-end
After completing the approval process the company super user receives a confirmation email with the User Id (email), System generated Password and a link to activate his account. You should change the password on first login.
* Create Users
The super user of the company can add new users by clicking on the link Add new user under My Account in the home page and fill the form with the details and submit it.
Also the super user can see the list of the company users by clicking on the link List company users.
* Add Products
The Company Users or Super user will be able to add products to the DubaiSooq by clicking on the link Add Product under Manage Products menu. Manage Products menu will be displayed only after the user is logged in.
Products can be added as long as the number of active products at any point is less than or equal to that specified in the company’s subscription package.
The Company Super user has to approve all postings/edits done by the company users.
Any addition / modification of products by Super user will be sent to the DubaiSooq Administrator for approval for non trusted companies.
For trusted companies product newly added or modified will be displayed on DubaiSooq once approved by Company Super user.
Company user must have the appropriate privileges set by the Super user, for Updating Company details and Product details.
Merchants can also get the help of DubaiSooq Team for adding new products.
* Manage Products
The Company Super User or the Company User, who has been given access rights by the super user, can edit and manage products.
For this the user needs to login to the DubaiSooq .The Manage Products menu will be displayed on all the pages .Click on the link Manage Products to displays the list of all the products of the company. Click on the product to be edited and the page with all the details of the selected product is displayed. Make the necessary changes and save it.
Only the Super user can activate/deactivate, remove or approve products.
* Manage Orders.
The company super user or the user who has the rights assigned will be able to list the orders on the system and update their status by clicking on the link Manage Orders under Manage products Menu.
System displays the Order List (fig. below) of all statuses by default.
The order history contains all orders made for this company’s products. User can filter by date or by status to view all/other orders.
User can view the details of any Order by clicking on the Order ID in the list .System displays the order details page with the Order details, List of Items and Shipping Details of the selected Order.
The company super user can change the Order Status to Shipped or Delivered as appropriate.
User can also send the Customer review by filling up and submitting the form displayed while Clicking on the Review Customer link
The list of orders or an individual order can also be printed or exported to Excel format.
* Transaction Summary
The company users can view the transaction Summary by Clicking on the link Transaction Summary under Manage Products Menu. This report contains the transaction summary of each day in one row.
By default the page lists the Transactions Report of the previous week.

User can filter the report to view the transaction summary for a period by specifying the Start Date (Calendar Control) & End Date (Calendar Control)
On clicking on the Date Link the system displays the order list for the selected day and can Manage Orders as explained in the previous section.
* Deliver Orders
Once the merchant receives the order he has to arrange for the delivery of item as per details mentioned in the order .The merchants can deliver the items directly to the shipping address mentioned in the order or can coordinate with the courier company engaged by DubaiSooq for this purpose.

* How to make a complaint to DubaiSooq?
You need to log in to DubaiSooq to send the complaint. Click on the Feed Back link in the Footer menu Fill the complaint form and submit.
An email will be send directly to the DubaiSooq administrator with contents of the complaint form. Simultaneously, an auto-generated acknowledgement is sent to the complainant.
* How to make a complaint to the Merchant?
You need to log in to DubaiSooq to send the complaint to the merchant. Click on the Feed Back link in the Footer menu
Fill the complaint form and select the supplier from the list and submit. The complaint message will be sent directly to the merchant’s e-mail id.
* How to update Profile?
The users can update their profile by clicking on the link Update Profile provided under the My Account Menu on the home page. The user can modify all the fields other than the e-mail which is the UserId for DubaiSooq.
If the user checks the DBank Online option, a section with the fields Internet Banking UserId, Branch & Customer Number will appear in the form which are not editable, if filled.
* How to Place Classifieds?
Users can place classifieds only after logging in to the DubaiSooq. Just click on the link Place Classifieds under Classifieds in the left menu of your DubaiSooq page.
Classifieds can be placed for 1 week, 2 weeks or a month. Fill up the Place classifieds form and submit it. The DubaiSooq team will contact you for further processing.
Before placing a classified on DubaiSooq, you should carefully read our Product Listing Policy that might limit your right to sell your item/services on DubaiSooq. You have to be aware that posting items in breach of your contractual obligations could put you at risk with third parties.
* How to Place advertisements?
You have to log in to DubaiSooq to avail this facility.
Just click on the link Advertise with us provided on the DubaiSooq pages to submit the request for purchasing advertisement. When you submit the request form with your correct contact details, the DubaiSooq Team will contact you for further details and documentations.
* How to participate in a Discussion Forum?
To participate in the Discussions forum you need to register to the DubaiSooq and should log in with valid User Id and Password.
Just Click on the link Forum on the top of your page. You can view the list of messages organized by topic. You will be able to reply or post a message within any topic. Your message will be published to the forum after being approved by the DubaiSooq Team.
